Gregory J. George, age 64, an Honorable Discharged Veteran of the United States Navy, died on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at St. John Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. Greg was born in Detroit, Michigan on Tuesday, June 28, 1960 to Sally and the late John George. He was a retired employee of the City of Warren, DPW. An avid outdoors guy that enjoyed to hunt, camp and be ready to lend a hand to anyone.
Beloved Husband of Susan, since 2003. Loving Father of Benjamin George, Steven (Melody) Weimann, Daniel Weimann and Andrew Weimann. Cherished Grandfather of Abigail, Allison, Charlotte and Adeline. Dear Brother of Tracey and the late Todd. Also survived by 3 Nephews. Son of Sally and the late John George. Greg is also survived by his 2 Birddogs, Conner and Charlie.
Visitation Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2- 8 pm at the Ford Funeral Home, 26560 Van Dyke (South of 11 Mile Road or the I-696 expressway), Center Line, Michigan. Instate Monday, February 24, 2025 from 9:30 am until time of Service 10 am at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families (St. Clement site), 25320 Van Dyke (North of 10 Mile Road), Center Line, Michigan. Interment with Military Honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 11 am.
