Junior Shoot News for April 2016

Miami Cup at Miami, FL January 17

  • Jacenta Jacob won a bronze medal in junior women skeet
  • Katie Jacob won gold medal in junior women skeet.

ACUI SOUTHEAST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS  March 6 at the historic Hooks Range in Fort Benning, GA

  • Nate Eisenhardt won gold medal for high school men

ISSF World Cup for shotgun, Nicosia, Cyprus March 22
Katie Jacob won a bronze medal in her first open class world cup.
at this match, the entire TEAM USA (3 out of 6) made the finals.
After the first stage of 16 targets, Katie was in a 3 way tie for the gold medal.
As a result of this bronze finish, Katie is now ranked 9th in the WORLD in
woman skeet shooting. Another side note here, Katie beat 2 of the 3
medal winners from the London Olympics in 2012.

On may 3 and 4, Katie will be in Suhl, Germany for Junior World Cup
match. Also, on May 17, she will be shooting at Tillar, AR, hoping to earn the last spot on the 2016
Olympics skeet team for Rio. She is in 3rd place, 9 points back of the leader, and she beat the leader
at the Cyprus world cup. Could be a memorial day to remember.

And this just in, at the ACUI National Championships at San Antonio, TX April 1
Marissa Biggie won bronze medal in international skeet as a member of the
Jacksonville University Varsity Shooting Team.
