2017-2018 Winter Shotgun Leagues

Well it’s that time of the year again to be thinking about the Winter Shotgun Leagues.
Both the Skeet, 5-Stand and Trap Leagues start in December. Skeet and 5-Stand shoots the 1st and last Sunday of the month and the Trap League shoot on the 2nd Sunday of the month. All of these leagues are open to all; you don’t have to be a member to shoot these leagues. These leagues are set up with a handicap system so even if you shoot low scores you have a chance to win. I’ve seen teams with shooters shooting the scores 5 – 15 win their division and win the division shoot-offs and win the league.
If you don’t have a team, there’s no problem, come on out and we’ll find you a team, there’s always someone looking for a shooter or two or we’ll start a new team.
Shoot Dates: Skeet First Flight: 12/3, 1/7, 2/4, 3/4, 4/8; Second Flight: 12/17, 1/28, 2/25, 3/25, 4/29. Trap 12/10, 1/14, 2/11, 3/11, 4/5.Trap Shoot-off’s: 4/29/18
League Banquet: June 4th.

Existing Teams; the sheets are on the Club bulletin board, please verify your team members and shooting time. If your team isn’t shooting, please notify the chairman.

HELP WANTED: If you are looking for work hours, the Skeet Leagues always needs pullers; we will train you if you don’t know how. The Trap League always needs squad hustlers and back loaders, people to set up and take down the fields. Need to be at the club at 7:00 am for set up or 8:30 am for other duties on league days.

If you have a youth looking to make some extra money: The Trap League uses youth to keep score. They will have to be at the shotgun house at 8:30 am and should be done around 3:30 – 4:00 at the latest. They receive $3.00 per shooter per 100 targets and the split of the tips.
